Mask PROWIDE

Categories:

Your ideal mask, from 0 to 50 meters
We are proud to introduce PROWIDE, our new mask dedicated to spearfishing.
When we first imagined the PROWIDE project, our goal was ambitious: to create a new
benchmark for spearfishers around the world, regardless of their technical level and, above
all, of the depths at which they are used to fishing. Achieving such a result was not easy, but
we believe we have succeeded.
If we had to sum up what PROWIDE stands for in a single claim, we would say: “Excellence for those who want to see better at any depth.”

Lenses: Traditional glass
Skirt: Silicone – INTEGRATED SILICONE-OVER-FRAME CONSTRUCTION technology
Color: Black with gray frame elements (gray camera mount on the CAM version)
Packaging: Recyclable cardboard
Availability: First deliveries from the end of October

An unprecedented ratio of field of view to internal volume
PROWIDE is a mask designed to deliver top-level performance both for those who prefer
shallow water, where the width of the field of view is one of the most important technical
aspects, and for those who dive deep, where reducing the internal volume becomes
decisive.
Today many masks promise a wide field of view combined with a low internal volume. With
PROWIDE, we are convinced we have taken this ratio to a higher level.
Thanks to an in-depth study of the geometries and the use of INTEGRATED SILICONE-
OVER-FRAME CONSTRUCTION technology, we have achieved a tangible result: an
exceptional ratio between field of view and internal volume of the mask.

A fit that suits (almost) every face
Another characteristic that particularly struck us during the many months of testing is the
very high percentage of faces on which PROWIDE fits perfectly.
The geometry of the skirt and the characteristics of the silicone have been developed to
ensure an effective fit on very different facial shapes, while maintaining a high level of
comfort even after many hours of diving.

A frame that doesn’t deform
C’è poi un aspetto tecnico spesso sottovalutato, ma che può rappresentare un limite importante in molte maschere moderne: la rigidità strutturale del frame, ovvero il telaio che ingloba e sostiene le lenti della maschera.
There is also a technical aspect that is often underestimated, but which can be a significant
limitation in many modern masks: the structural rigidity of the frame, that is, the structure that
encloses and supports the mask’s lenses.
When a mask is tightened on the face and subjected to hydrostatic pressure, a frame that is
not sufficiently rigid can deform. This deformation alters the geometry of the mask and can
produce the so-called “tunnel effect,” reducing the field of view and altering the quality and
true perception of what we see underwater.
